Trusting the process

I recently embarked on a creative adventure with a new set of metallic paints, and the result was a piece that truly captivated me. Inspired by the stunning shimmer of these paints, I set out to create a mandala that would not only showcase their beauty but also push my artistic boundaries.

The focal point of this artwork is the stunning gradients of blue to green, seamlessly blending into each other to create a sense of depth and movement. To tie the piece together, I used pearl white, which added a touch of elegance and brightness to the overall composition.

As I worked on this piece, there were moments when I felt tempted to give up. Every painting has its ugly stage, as they say, and this one was no exception. However, I made a promise to myself at the beginning of the year to finish every painting I start, no matter how challenging it may seem. I’m so glad I stuck to that rule, as this piece turned out to be one of my favorites.

One of the most rewarding aspects of this project was seeing how the painting transformed when viewed from a distance. The pearl white shimmered beautifully in the sunlight, creating a mesmerizing effect that draws the viewer in.

This painting taught me the importance of perseverance and trusting the process. Sometimes, the most challenging paintings turn out to be the most rewarding. I can’t wait to see where my artistic journey takes me next!
